Those are nice pictures you took there. I up load a picture or 2 of my fish when I get a computer.

The fish was around 15 inches when you account the fact that I didn't hold it parallel to the tape. Also, we were discussing today that the tape on the Fish Cat isn't 100% accurate....so I'll have to check it with a tape measure. The fish was about 14 though...ill post a pic later when i get to a computer.

I know that this was a while back but our April Fools Gathering at Lake Perris inspired me to finish this vid.
Hope it doesn't get pulled down because of some of the audio

I assumed a BAT .. but couldn't tell on my phone small screen. I'll watch it again when I get home.

That's my semi-fear is that I hook a monster bat at night while floating that drags me out to sea or into a pylon or a boat. When I hooked my 54" bat in LAB, right at the spot you guys launch from, it dragged me up and down 50 yards of sand for 30 minutes! And that was with both legs and all 250lbs of me firmly planted on sand, not floating on a bobber!!

Doc, If it came down to that, cut the line

We hooked a few Big bats on the ocean side, of 70th st. we fought what we believed to be bats for approx 30 to 45 mins before we broke off using 8 lb test. This was tubing, and we didn't towed far at all, maybe 15 yds. Maybe they feel safer in deeper water..?

I don't fish for rays, so I don't know their habits, I do know my arms felt like they were going to fall off..

When music is playing , I turn the audio off..
