Headed out to the local fishing pond (not big enough to be a lake) yesterday after work. Left the office at 5pm and was on the water by 5:08. Nice little pond with a good variaty of bass as local fisherman have kept bass caught at other lakes alive and put them in this pond and have called it the "training lake" for kids. It's right next to a skate park so some kids will ride over to the park with pole in hand and skate all day and fish afterward. I like it because I can try out new lures and if anything ever gets snagged for a buck you can get a local kid to wade out and get it for you as the entire pond is only about 10' deep in the middle. Here are a couple of pics. Do small and large mouth bass count as 2 different fish?

Great Catch light the freshwater fish are on the board, and that is a gem of a local pond great find.

Jeff on a side note if I get a tail walker, then a lightning trout, and then even still a brown do they all count separately or is a trout a trout?

It shouldn't be any problem clearly identifying what one is what lol.

2.5# average size at Corona Lake. Lightning next week. When I catch one I post it as a big goldfish....lol

today at LAB mothers beach. N2DEEP and I fish from 9:30 till 2pm. some bites but manage to land only this one.
