Going to hit Savon Tackle today during lunch break.

What do I need for this Sunday at Lake Perris?
Please be as specific as possible (eg. colors, sizes, brands, etc) cuz I'm a fishin' fool and know nothing about lake bassing!

Much thanks in advance..

Here's what I am thinking so far:

1. Small folding Frabill landing net, fish-friendly
2. Skirted Swim jigs. ? 3/8oz or 1/2oz warbaits? Color/patterns? Or Bass Patrol?
3. Big Hammer swimbaits? Colors? 3" or 4"

Where do u go?

I like the guys at Savon. I buy big stuff online, but the little stuff I usually buy at and support my LTS. Of the 3 I know of, this one is probably in the middle as far as prices. I also hit Charkbait and Performance Tackle occasionally. And of course, I sometimes drop some coin at the local evil Walmart.

I find the difference in price is lost in the gas it takes me to drive somewhere else. I work so close to it. Plus the guys at Sav On are pretty cool. I always end up bs'n with someone. I just saw the new Shimano Tranx or whatever its called, over there. Crazy reel. If he is there, I know just who to talk to about fishing Perris. This kid is on the fish.

I was sad to see Fisherman's Hardware go the way of the Dodo. I used to like to go in there too when I was nearby. I got some good deals there at the end of it all.

See you over there Jay. I drive a red Silverado with a white bait tank...hee hee (just a water tank) in the bed.

Ditto, Roger is always fun to talk to..

Long Fin in the OC is imho another good shop.

Unfortunately the drive to both places is fairly long, so I wait until I need to really stock up before going.. Very Happy

You really wanna see my ugly mug..??? lol!

I've been meaning to get down there, but it cost's me more in diesel fuel than I spend on tackle, unless I spend 50.00 or more..
