NEED HELP FAST!!!

Ok guys here is what I need....

Yesterday driving home from the show at the fairgrounds I think I blew a bushing or something in the front end of my Saturn. It is drivable but when I get above 60mph the front end shakes BAD.

Is there anyone on here that is handy with cars and can help me out with getting this thing fixed ASAP? Any mechanics out there or anyone know of a shop that won't ream me. I need to get it fixed and I don't have the time to do it myself.

Thanks Miller...but I just bought the wife a new car. The saturn is paid for low miles for a 12 year old car and runs great...just need to get this fixed.

I was hoping it might just be a bad wheel or wheel bearing but have no time to check myself.

Wish I had and answer for you, I could have my high school work on it. The problem with the high school is they take there time. They have done good work for me in the past, just took forever. I agree with miller talk to Ed.

Is Ed a mechanic or a car salesman? Not looking for a new car...but Ed HELP!

The # for Super One Auto is 714-554-3312 talk to Danny. He is the owner. He is a great guy and with Good prices and is very fair.

I have done alot of work with him and so has my family.
I have spent properly around $20,000 over the years with him.

Ed works on cars, Im not sure 100% but he all does

i know a guy in la habra on whittier blvd near fullerton rd, he is reasonable small shop if you tell him you need it right a way he will do what he can. the guy knows his s@#t. he night be able to tell you what it is with out checking it out and what he will charge you.

the only bad thing is he likes to be paid in cash.

Cool that guy is right around the corner from me...I use to know a guy on Whittier in La Habra that only worked on Saturns but he closed up shop...I have contacted Ed but am still open for options!

I'd check them first
They sometimes separate internally and will cause a vibration

Yeah I thought about that...even thought maybe a bad wheel. I checked them visually and they looked good but you never know.

My bro-in-law is a mechanic for Ford and he would work on it but Ford will charge him $150 just for use of the company lift...what a bunch of douches!!

How old are the tires?
The belts separate internally. Won't be visible on the outside
We had a tire do this on our car

The tires are a few years old...I do know it needs them soon.

Just talke with Ed and he gave me a few ideas on what it might be. Got to check it out on my lunch.

MAN I HATE CARS!!! Something always seems to go wrong right when I have my fishing trips set in stone....time to get a bus pass!

I feel ya we have the same issue with our cars (knock on wood). There is always something, all these problems will go away once we get some good walking shoes and start walking

Funny you said that. I was thinking about asking my neighbor if I could barrow one of his! He a four in his back yard...lol

Grab the front tires, one at a time, and shake em, might be a wheel bearing gone, or going bad.

Does the car pull left or right when you let go of the steering wheel?

A buddy had that similar shaking problem when reaching a certain limit. It turned out that the alignment was off. Hit or rub into any curbs lately?

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the advice.

I found the problem this morning on the way to work....my right rear tire had a large bubble between the belt and tread.

Now I just need to get to the shop and ge new tires and I will be good to go!
