I just heard something about Shimano possibly discontinuing the rods OR modifying the quality? Anyone know some info about this?

That would really suck if that happens. I love the fact that if my rod breaks and can just trade it for a new one.

I already had that happen with my tescata that I have. I have not found any rod in the shimano lineup that matches up to that one.

Yes waxon it is true. Shimano is going to be discontinuing the Teramar line of rods. Not sure what they plan on replacing them with but it will be happening soon.

When I do find out I will let you all know.
