Digital or dial

Jeff do we specifically need a digital scale for the biggest fish? I have a brand new dial type. Thanks.

Should be digital shows better in the pictures, we will have a few scales on the water so we can share I am sure.

Are u guys using live wells?
For the tournaments i fished last year, we all had live wells and just weighed up all the fish on the same scale to be fair.
Super easy to make. Its just a laundry bag (the net kind) with a PVC frame inside and some floats for the top.

Its was all catch and release. I think we only lost one fish all year, out of hundreds weighed in.

That might be a good idea or at least what can be done, if you do not have a scale.

I'll just guess the weight of each of my fish. Shouldn't be off by 12 or more pounds plus or minus

I promise I will recalibrate it in the morning. Calibration is as follows:

1. Start Fishing in the morning.
2. Check fish count and add 6 if number is below four fish hooked in a 1 hour period.
3. Should this not work, sneak up quietly behind Madbasser and borrow his Live Well bag until weigh in has been completed.
4. Smile and eat the delicious Pot Luck that we are all bringing.
5. Laugh my ass off all the way home:)

Hey is this what happens when fly guys get together? Stealing live wells and everyone's spandex (well Dano's anyways)? Should we do a pot luck? We could do a sign up if you guys want e.g.who bringing what keep it simple kind of thing. Oh my God I sound like Susie Homemaker.

Well Susie get the list going from my experience this never really works out but I will bring something. Set it up and we will see what happens this time.
