Rd #3 Perris Lake Gathering/Series

Aug. 18th - Rd #3 Perris Lake Gathering/Series is here boys & girls.

Bernasconi Side.
Meet up and Check in is at
Sign in approx 5:30am - 6:30/6:45am
Weight in time 2-2:30pm

Gate Fees are $10.00 per Car.

Meet up time is when the gates open 6am.


FYI - this gate opens around 6:30am on avg. We can start lining up befor the gate opens and I will start checking people in at that time and after the gate opens for about 20 mins or so well I get my tube ready etc. once my truck is locked up check in is over.

Bass only - LMB
2 fish limit for series only (lake rules) - Live Weight In
15" size limit (lake rules)
No cut/live bait, netting etc. rod, reel, line and lure only
Series is for "Members Only"
Gathering is open to ALL
All BASS are Catch & Release Only

$5.00 tackle donation for gathering/series (everyone must donate)
$10.00 sign up fee for Series portion
$5.00 Series entry fee

"optional"
$10.00 side bet for big fish

This is Float tube or Toons only.

Once you check in you can go and fish anywhere inside of the Lake.
fishing outside of legal area to fish you will be disqualifed.

Cant do a three fish limit limit on the lake can only have two In. Possession and a 15" min but I'm super excited cant wait

Other than being hot, what's camping like on the other side?? Would probably have to come down on Friday night to join in on the fun Saturday. Can we get enough peeps to get a group camp on the Bersconi side??? I would have to either camp or hit up my nephew (sun city) friday to get to the gate by 6.. It's a long drive at 3 in the morning from Oxnard..I read some of the info on the lake. Any inside info would be appreciated..

Damn, thats one hell of a drive haha! good luck! Im about an hour and 30 minutes away. I haven't tried this spot yet but willing too!

figure I could get some fishing in and go see the relatives that live down that way..
