Urban Challenge III: Float Tube Edition
Sunday Sept 9, 2012 @ Santa Fe Dam
park entrance fee$10
launch fee:$7
this event is open to all
target fish: bass
2 fish bag limit
heaviest bag wins challenge
meeting area at boat launch parking lot area
a donation of $5 in fishing tackle is expected from each challenger(goes toward urban challenger's winnings)
tackle and challenger check-in 6:30-7am
wiegh-in at 1pm
Rules:
challengers be limited on the amount of tackle they will be able to used during the challenge
challengers will only be allowed to have:
6 soft plastic baits(no limit on quantity of each bait). ex: plastics worms, creature baits, ika's, etc...
5 hard baits. ex: cranks, poppers, jerks, etc... (frogs will be catagorized as hard bait)
4 spinners type baits ex: spinners, buzz, chatter, etc...
3 swimbaits ex: soft/hard swimbaits. (hammers will be catagorized as swimbait and no limit on quantity of same color pattern)
there will be no limit on terminal tackle(ex: hooks, weights, jigs, etc)
scent and attractants are allowed
no umbrella riggings, no chumming, no cut baits.
storage compartments on tubes must be empty before tackle check-in.
challengers must also obey all DFG and L.A.Co park rules and regulations.
challengers have access to whole lake.
electronic devices are allowed (fish/depth finders)
weight must be taken with a digital scale and captured with digital camera or celluar phone. (picture of scale reading must be clear to be accepted)
challenge must make weigh-in at 1pm. late
weigh-ins with not be accepted.
