What do you use for bait on carp?
I have a pond near my house that has a bunch of 20"+ carp in it, but they never go after anything I throw in the water.

Im not interested on carp but I know what works pretty good: Buy Tortilla dough, (the label: masa para tortilla)you`ll find it on mexican markets like Nothgate, big save, etc.. mix it with penut butter or honey. or bouth.
there you go, good luck. let me know how it work for you Thumbs Up

I have used corn kernels on the hook and chunks of cheese also. I don't think carp are too fussed with what they vacuum up.
Corn is good as a berley also you can just buy a can of it from the supermarket.
In the back waters of the Murray river system here we get some absolute whoppers here and for the really big one's (and I mean the one's that sit on the surface and sun themselves) garden snails threaded on the hook and use a surf rod. These buggers when hooked go where they want to, no finess to it just skull drag them.
