That is also a Hell of a sale price, how can you go wrong. I will post up what I got a few years ago same price and it worked out well for me but I think this one looks good.

well

first i have to say that i have not used this reel in real world fishing yet

i have only casted it in the driveway and
at the park which is handy and across the street from my home

for the money i think it is a good deal for my first baitcaster however im learning from practice that owning a baitcaster and actually knowing how to cast it are two totally different things
lol
i have watched endless videos on youtube on how to adjust and set the brake on a baitcaster and if i adjust mine the same way as all these pros have said to do it
then it either will not cast at all or it will cast about 5 ft if i start loosening the spool tension then its a birds nest every other cast but im sure there is a learning curve that i have not mastered yet been thru three sopools of 330 yd line
so far i wonder how much i will go thru before i can actually cast it Red Smile Red Smile

Lol, sheesh thats a lot of line you went through. I learned it pretty easy. I just kept loosing it up little by little and made sure i had my thumb on the spool for the most part.

try this:

start by setting the brake in half postion(center). tighten spool tension. wind line so the weight is just below the end of the rod. release thumb bar without thumbing spool. weight should not drop. slowly loosen spool tension until weight starts to fall quickly. now try casting.

BTW what size weight are you using to practice with?
