hey whats up everyone, i just recently joined this forum, I like how everyone here shares ideas and stories of thier float tube. My wife bought me a Super Fat Cat for my birthday coming up this week. She also bought me all the.. well not all accessories but most of them Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy man was I exited. so i decided to break it in saturday at corona lake for their trout opener. Man if it was packed. Good thing for the float tube Smile I did not have to worry about racing to my favorite spot. The only thing that I did not think about was buying or making an anchor, that is one of the accessories that was missing lol yea.. my legs are sore and tired but well worth it. I cant believe how close I came to see all the action of a 6-7bl trout that snapped my 6bl fluorocarbon test line. I landed a few nice trouts after that but not as near as the one that handed me my ass Embarassed I will be posting pictures of my new ride as soon as i rigg it up.

Welcome.
Glad you already got out on the water. You said your legs were sore so I was wondering what type of fins are you using? Some fins will make you work real hard and you don't get very far.

they where only sore do to not having an anchor to keep me from floating into others Embarassed so I had to constantly keep kick paddling to keep me in place lol! other wise I would of been ok. The fins that I have now are the Turbo Thruster, they work good.

Thanks Aquaholic38, regarding the mice tails, do you use the mice tails to jig? or do you just let them sit?
