Fishing Corona for trout tomorrow. Was wondering which DS setup most prefer. The traditional is easier to rig but the twisted drop shot keeps the bait off the line.

Also is there any pre-made rigs that work well?

Traditional:

I like the traditional style never had any problems with the bait going on the line. When I'm fishing for trout I like the wacky rig or a bobber with a mini jig under... Good luck!

What do you think about multiple hooks on one line?

Seems like it will take the fun out of fishing lol and more hooks equals more problems snags tangles etc especially if your using light line

Jus a regular drop shot set up works best imo. Try drop shotin red power worms wacky or nose hooked works really well.

Unless you have a really great floating worm (IE Mice tails), Traditional is best, IMO. You get much better action from it over the twisted. I've played around with both, but Traditional seems the best way to go based on what I've seen/experienced.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Used the traditional style with just about every worm, ball, mouse tail and color I had. Sorry, no fish or pics to post. Slow day and I saw only 1 fish caught in over 6 hours.

Yeap. I like a size 8 or 10 Owner Mosquito hook, on 2-4lb line.
