I got robbed, or my house got robbed, lets just say they were looking for quick easy stuff to grab and get out fast. We are all ok for the most part but it was hardest on our kids. The worst part the stool my kids diabetic testing kits. We have back up's but what a bunch of loser's. The rest is just stuff and we have insurance, but guys this took them 20 minutes so please take care of your family keep your eyes open and lock all doors and windows when you leave. We are strong and they have not hit us hard enough to hurts us.

That sucks bro. I had the same thing happen a few months back it sucks knowing that someone was in your personal space. It's a good thing that you have back up medical supplies for your kids. Stay strong Jeff & family.

What douchebags. This is the reason why I have my dogs have full access to the entire house, and the neighbors keep eyes on my home when I'm away. Sorry to hear your losses buddy. Will be praying for you and your family.

Thanks everyone we are all doing ok now, we are strong. And now the neighbors are aware and look as well so good comes from everything I am sure of it. We just don't want this to happen to anyone else in our neighborhood.

Just some thoughts but what did they take other than your kids testing kits, anything that might pop up for sale on craig's list that would be noticeable? Does it seem like a random hit or they went after certain things like possibly could you get hit again because of things they know you own or will replace and they can steal again or possibly may have been someone you know?

A friend of mine had an attempted hit on his place so he changed his work hours and sure enough 4 days later bam he catches one of his daughters ex boyfriends fleeing his house with cash, jewelry and guns of his.

Sorry to hear about the break in Jeff, glad you guys are ok. Material things can be replaced. My wife kept bugging me to get an alarm for our home and I finally gave in. She sleeps better at night, I sleep the same Very Happy . Keep your head up.

X2... A dog savvy person might go on in, but not many are dog savvy. Get a dog with a big bark, not necessarily a bite. Thieves will likely go on to an easier mark.

Dummy cameras and a security sign are low cost alternatives.

Main question, did they get any of your fishing gear? (not making light of your situation)
