this beast ended up weighing 28lbs it was 42" in length and 17" width. Made for some killer tacos. Its gonna be hard to top that. Sucks for me cause that is setting the bar REAL HIGH Shocked

I was using 1/4oz Owner sled-head with a 4" MC swimbait grub in Xmas tree color. Works great for all salt species Thumbs Up

Thx Bro... A ride it was. That sucker was spinning me in circles. I'm glad I didn't screw it up like I have many times before. Made my year. That's a catch of a lifetime for many. Made some bomb ass tacos.

I was wondering when you were going to post that up. Super nice flattie, and a fish of a lifetime from the tube! It's hard to believe that about a week or two before you lost a similar fish in size, I was ready for the gaff shot! member?...you member!

Yeah... Losing that one a few weeks prior to catching this one. Broke my heart. That one straight punked me. It must have had a few pounds in this one... Easy. Took your advise after that and let my reels do the work instead of trying to aggressively retrieve the fish. 2013 was my first year on a tube. It was a good year. Caught many fish and learned many lessons.
