From Orange county

Hey guys, so I thought I would say hello to everyone. I just got into float tubing about 2 weeks ago. Its safe to say I'm addicted now. I am located in Orange County,CA so I hope I can attend one of your events.

Check out my current setup. I'm open to any suggestions. I am in the process of finishing up the fish finder mod. I need to find a nice box to set the 4cell lipo in.

Nice job this sport can get really addicting.  If you don't want the butts of your rods getting wet I would recommend capping off the ends at the bottom of your rack. Wet butt means wet armpit.

Nice. I left a piece of pipe hanging lower than the transponder to protect it when beaching the toon or setting it on a hard surface. I'll post a pic later. Oh yeah, can I have your ff?

Thanks for the input. I sealed up the rod holder with caps. I wish I would of looked at your guys rod holder setups first. I was inside home depo with my iPhone on google images trying to put it together in my head.

Indeed will do. This FF is sweet hooked up to 4cell lipo 5000mah I get about 11 hours of run time.

Jenks lake below big bear. I really want to find some other good spots. I haven't fished Irvine lake in years. I have to give that a try after the tournament this month. Any recommendations around OC. Santa Ana lakes is like $27 for adult and tube launch crazy...
