Hit NPH this morning 9/13/14

Hello everyone. So i hit NPH this morning 9/13 around 6:30am. First cast and i hooked up then second cast and landed an other. When i noticed my right side was really low on air. I quickly head to shore and had to walk to my car to get the patches.. lol.. once fixed i went out and ended the day around 12:30 with 9 spotties all ok size the biggest being 14in.

Putting in work way to go out there those are some nice spotties sucks about the leaky bladder though

I worked NPH this morning from 7:00 - noon only managed 1 sandy & 2 spotties
all small. Launched from Coast Guard.
Was a beautiful morning out on the water!
Was my 1st time I'm sure I'll get better at harbor fishing

It is always a good day when you get hit on the first cast.

Nice job on the spotties. It was a slow day for me and my buddy (he was the guy you chatted with in the orange tube). We got some nice ones, but the bite was slow.

What's up Ifishtolittle. Yeah i remember you guys. The last 4 fish i got at the docks you guys were working at the end. I seen a lot of smelt so i threw the drop shot and it was game on.

We should've tied on the DS. lol I despise that rig.

Towards the end of the day we encountered a school of mullet ranging from 18"- 30"+. I had one chase a rattle trap by the public dock which got me all exicited causing us to stay an extra 20 min. lol never promise your family an exact time when you'll be back.

Lol. Yeah i seen that school too.. i do really well with the DS but for whatever reason i don't get hit on it till the end when i seen all the smelt.

Match the hatch my friend. lol forget the spotties. If you can get a mullet to bite you'll be in for a serious fight. Stupid me left the cut bait at home. The worst part was that on one of the pilings we passed an older gentleman lazily caught a nice 2lb sargo.

Yeah i've cought mullet in thete befor and man do they put up a fight..lol.. i might head out there sometime this week not sure when tho.
