I was wondering if any of you use fin leashes so's not to kick off a fin and lose one.

I do have some fin leashes, but I don't often use them.

I dropped a fin from the tube once. I had taken the fin off and was monkeying around with a fin sock. The fin fell off the side of the tube. I am pretty sure fins are dropped in handling as opposed to use like this most of the time.

I hope this helps.

I use them with my adjustable force fins. Cheap insurance for under $10. I haven't needed them yet but I started using them after my buddy lost one of his while fishing. Force fins float like a rock by the way.

I use them on my expensive fins. You can buy them or just make some out of nylon cord and webbing material from walmart. Sell both in the camping section.

I use them all the time with my force fins since they came with them when I bought them. I've never had one come off but it is a piece of mind knowing the leash is there.

I purchased a pair but they were for wrapping around the bare skin of an ankle and not long enough to go around the wader's soft sock and the tall pull over rubber water booty.
Do yo wear this model over your Soft sock with pullover rubber water booty?

I bought the fins used so it might be an aftermarket strap that the previous owner made. I clip mine over everything wirh room to spare. I have seen some the have velcro but mine has a clip. I've also seen people make them out of small dog collars. They'll put the dog collar around the ankle and attach it to the fin wit a lanyard.

Had a great Maiden Voyage!
Where do I post a fishing report on his site?

I ended up with (3) SBB and (1) 25" Legal Hali (CPR'd)
