Fishing @ NPH today. (Wed)

well took my boat to NPH today for the 1st time and got SKUNKED!! Well actually not skunked. I landed 3 spotties but I had to throw them back..... because they were way to small (the size of my 5 year old sons foot)... I hit every spot that was mentioned here on the forum ( M ST pier, Coast guard pier and the jetty's.... but it didnt look like nobody was catching today.. it was overcast till around 12 then it cleared and the winds picked up.. I tried every kind of bait , rigs, plastic lures and etc........ what did i do wrong for the big fish??? .... ( jus a bad fishing day i guess!)

You didn't do anything wrong, fish size is just part of the gamble of fishing.

thats part of fishing man. some days you catch, some days you dont. just gotta keep going back and learn what they like. try speeding up you retrive or working it real slow on the bottom. the fish are not always on the top.
