Does anyone know if float tubing is allowed at Fisherman's Retreat there in San Timoteo Canyon? I guess I could call there and ask..

calling would be the good choice , as new owners took it over a few yrs back and pretty much resurrected the lakes there and camping areas ... it was bad for a long time , but great fishing for bass from shore if you could get through the weeds on the bank lol

$5 for tubes
$10 for boats/kayaks
electric motors ok, no gas engines

inthedeep2… So there's the $15 entrance/fishing fee PLUS $5 more for Float tubing? Can you go in WITHOUT wearing waders?

This would be great news for tubers , will have to drive by and check it out again . Used to go up there weekly and they would allow small boats with no motors , but the last owners ran a lot of people off and it was bad due to limited shoreline access due to to all the over growth ... thanks for the intel
