Hi guys, just wanted to introduce myself.. Im an Australian living in Korea at the moment and have been fishing tubes for a while now. I mainly fish for largemouth. I'm on my 4th tube now. Started off on a cumberland, upgraded to a wizard, then to an outcast scout and now fishing from a max which is an absolute tank of a tube haha Belly boating is big over here with most bodies of waters with no boat laws.. most people fish from a tube. Do a few tourneys when i can and just like being out on the water.. cheers

Wow very cool welcome to the forum, we are glad you found us. It looks like tubing is big out there from what I have seen. Thanks for joining and please let others know about us out there. As for your tube that is a tank wish we had stuff like that out here, but the Cumberland service us very well. We hope to hear a lot from you and please share your reports and wisdom when you can.

We do not have a South Korea section but I will be sure to fix that ASAP.

I noticed that your newest tube is without the electric trolling motor.
Do you prefer the oars over the electric trolling motor?
And if so ... could you please expand a bit on your experience with both styles?

You've gone thru a few nice float tube set-ups indeed!

Thanx for sharing your tube photos with all of us! Thumbs Up

Yeh ive only had my new tube for about a month and still debating on whether to have a motor fitted.. fishing larger bodies of water the trolling motor does make life easier.. but its actually not needed.. the oars are plenty fast enough to get around. Lithium ion batteries cost quite a bit over here also..

Very cool setups!

I'm pretty new to the sport and I've never met anyone who's fished so many different float setups. Love to hear your thoughts about each one. You obviously have a lot of experience we would all like to learn from!

You're hardcore!

Cheers mate, ive been fishing all my life. Mainly in tge salt back home either from 1 of my boats or yak. After coming over here the tube was the easiest and most efficient way to get on the water.. these are the 1s i've owned but i've tested a lot different tubes that my mates own.. made a lot of mistakes along the way and still learning but thats half the fun.. =)

Welcome to the forum. It's nice to see reports and feedback from other parts of the world. I'm especially surprised float tube fishing is big over in South Korea. My parents are from there and had no idea. They've always told me fishing was mainly only from shore over there in freshwater!

That was just a club tourney.. we hold 2 or 3 big tourneys each year but do a lot of meet ups and mini tournaments all the time.. theres a big nation wide tourney coming up next month which should be bigger.. the last 1 of those i went to there were 250 tubes on the water.. now that was a sight.. the club tourneys usually have between 100~150 tubes.. my mate, a texan actually won the last 1 and i got 4th..
