Thanx Jeff,

I just wanted to share what I using with others in hopes that it will make buying and pairing gear that much more simpler for them, knowing that one properly set-up rod n' reel can be used in so many different presentation techniques and yet still be extremely effective.

Also, letting people know that my stix's range from $56 to $200 and that if you like the way that any stix feels in your hands ... then buy it.

My cheapo 6-ft B"n'M SharpShooter stix only cost me $56 on eBay ... and I absolutely luv em'.

Thanx for all of your continuous positive support my friend!  Thumbs Up

Dan

Thanks for the information Dan.
It appears you are a fan of the 2500 Stradic for the harbour.

Hey Jerdon,

I started off using the Shimano Reels surf fishing as one of the SWAT Brotha's 10 years ago on FNN and the reels have been totally reliable to me in all of my applications of fishing; whether surf or harbor, over all the years.

I've landed (5) Stripped bass PB 34", Leopard Sharks PB 58", 100 lb+ Bat Rays and literally 100's of Halibut with my most recent PB being a 36" Hali; just to list a few, using these very reels.
They're a lot like my Toyota 4-Runner ... their not big, their very dependable, their plenty strong and they get the job done every single time.

So .... yup ... I guess that I'm a huge fan of the Shimano Ci4 Stradic's and of course my (2) two Van Staal G-100 reels. (my reel luv's)

Dan
