So headed out to HH for a last minute session with my oldest son. He made the choice, we took out both of our Maxxon XPW 240's. My son loved it said it was so easy to move in the water. We meet Alakai, and a surprise visit from Litefoot. We all got on the water at about 6:30 and rode the slow-moving incoming tide.
The bit was strange today seemed like a short bit kind of day. I ended up setting hooks on 6 fish and they all came unbuttoned as quick before the fight was on. I personally I landed 3 fish and one was a nice sized Jack Smelt which might be the reason for the short bit and fights I was dealing with. The tide changes to an outgoing tide at 10 am and we rode it back. Even though it was a tough day it was not to have my oldest on the water with me today, hope there will be more to come.
