I wanted to say hello all from Southern California, San Gabriel Valley!

I've been fishing for awhile on freshwater, although float tube is something new to me. I fished twice at Puddingstone, so far on a new tube, and i can say it was a really exciting and fun type of fishing.
I hope I get to meet you guys on the water! Tight lines Smile

Hello Ronnie and xKLAUSx. I’m new to this too. I think I have everything I need but just discovered my fins won’t fit over my boots (boot foot waders) so I guess I need to buy stocking foot waders. Looks like LAB Friday morning for a maiden voyage if the stars align!

A word of caution if you plan to launch from 69th pl at LAB on Friday. The North side of Ocean blvd is closed from 11AM on Fridays for street sweeping. Cost me $50 awhile back for not reading the signs, and arriving at the car 10 min too late. The enforcers are vigilant. (This means that the south side parking is even more congested on Friday. BTW, same applies to south side on Thursday). Paid parking at 72nd is an option of course.
