So this was put out by forumotion and I think it could be great option for some members here. I have loaded it on my cell phone and will load it on my computer soon. Here is what they say it is

In this section, you have the possibility to customize your forum Progressive Web App (PWA). Unlike Topic'it, which allows you to access all forums, the PWA is an application 100% dedicated to your forum. The user can install it directly from a browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox, without having to go through an app store.
PWA have many advantages for your forum : possible installation from a mobile or PC, quick loading, push notifications, home screen icon to access the forum, display similar to a classic mobile application,... The only negative points: the forum must be in HTTPS to take advantage of all the features and Safari does not yet handle push notifications.
With the PWA, your forum benefits from its own application. Most importantly, admins who have configured their PWA are seeing better activity in their forum : more user visits, posted messages and interactions."
