Well I did it I broke out my old fly tying table.  Its a lot of fish and you feel connected to the water even though you are not on the water.

top one for bluegill in local lakes, bottom one my favorite, tie it from size 10 to 18 and catch brook trout, rainbow and brown on it and even got a 19 inch steelhead on 1 this year.

forget saltwater, we need to plan a trip to pyramid lake in Nevada or the Sacramento river or even a nice 3 day trip to the Owens

That sounds like a fun outing but I believe we tried that here on the site in the past and it’s so difficult to get everybody together at the same time.
Perhaps we can work this issue out in order to make it more convenient for everybody to make it in the near future.
