10th Annual FTFF Toy Drive

So as of right now as we work our way through the Freshwater VS Saltwater I have been working on setting up our Toy Drive.
It has gone well so far, here is what we have a supporters so far.

We are working on quite a few more supporters I will keep you all informed.

Also I will have the dates of the events up after the current event. Not trying to step on the current event looking forward to the 10th Annual FTFF Toy Drive this year.

This is another fun event that will soon follow the SW vs FW Event.

Thanks Dan I was not sure this was going to happen this year. But we are off and running and it is looking good so far.

OK just a heads up for all our 10th Annual FTFF Toy Drive dates and times:

Nov. 21st Lake Perris 6am meet up at Bernasconi Rd. dependent on the gate. Fish until you cannot kick any more.

Dec. 12th Newport Harbor 6am meet up at the Coast Guard Station parking lot. Fish until you run out of hooks.

At both events we will turn in toys at the start and hold a quick on the water raffle to give away a few prizes to some luck winner. As always you can bring up to 10 toys to increase you chances of winning the Grand Prize which this year will be at this point Buck's Bag Cutthroat Float Tube and Rinsekit. I am sure there will be more to come as I have been talking to a lot of companies.

I will work on a flyer and get it out as soon as it is done. we will post an official 1oth Annual FTFF Toy Drive Thread soon. As well as set up our Facebook event as we have the last few years. Please spread the word about what we have going on. This being our 10th Annual I think we need to kill it guys lets flood the waters with tubes.

For those not able to make an event you can donate cash or send toys to first be apart and second be placed in the Grand Prize Raffle as well. Any questions guys post them up I am getting very excited about this one.

I’d definitely like to throw that lure around for a while.
Do you happen to know the weight of the lure? 1/4oz?
I like the color combination of it!

Rod leashes,
I don’t personally use them but I do know people that have lost their rods while fishing Jeff. They should luv this item!

This will be a great rod leash for those that have attempted to put their rods away in the past while float fishing to having ended-up dropping them overboard into the brink! $$$  

A leash is a cheap form of insurance ... I’m just saying!

No i don't know the weight but I will see if I can find out. I will share a few more of there ideas as well on this bait. Very interesting ideas to say the least.

This is always a fun event!! Cant wait to see many familiar faces and meet new ones as well!

I’ve never used Instagram neither but I am very interested in casting one of those lures, if they come in 1/4 oz sizes.

Sometimes, I wish we could get the toys into the hands of the children even sooner!
There is nothing sadder in life to me; that which touches my heart, than an innocent child in want or need. Sigh!

Well said Dan this is what it is all about - The Kids and bighting there day.  Every year as this event roles around I find it hard to start (As it takes a lot and rejection is hard).  But as I start I quickly recognize that we (even though it might be small in the grand scheme of things) do a very important job in providing a little bit of light to those less fortuned.  
Last year almost did not happen as I kick around the time a effort and energy I did not have.  I got started and before you knew it we were off again.  And I think last year was one of our best years.  Until this year as I think this one might be even better.
We need to remember this year is even more important to do our part because of COVID-19 and the families that find themselves in a rough spot this Holiday session.  On that note I have one more thing I would like to put out there but I will do it in another thread coming in just a few.
