This has been my favorite way to tether my rods. I've been doing this method for some time. I really miss my Hobie fishing kayak.

I use rod tethers on my kayak but not on my tube. I guess I figure the tube wont tip over.

Nice I am currently teaching Rope's and Nots in class and I totally forgot about the Double Bowline on a Bight thanks for the reminder. Also that is a great tether system as well thanks so much for sharing.
