I was out for a few hours on Lake George in NY this morning. I managed one decent lake trout and one big pickerel (!) on a smelt pattern streamer, fishing out of my trusty old Outcast FatCat. I'll be happy when my Scadden Raptor shows up... true to his reputation, I have received no responses to two e-mails asking about an estimated ship date.

Great looking Laker and one heck of a Pickerel! I'm really jealous. Unfortunately the best smelt runs around here are not float tube friendly...

Thanks! The pickerel photo looks kind of weird, for some reason. I was thinking it might be the biggest one I've caught.
