I thought I would share some of the mods I have done so far to my new tube.  Because I live full time in an RV I need to pack everything as small as possible when I go mobile.

The small cooler is mounted to the driver's side of the tube with paracord and cam-lock clips.  I attached two rod holders to the side of the cooler with nuts and bolts and I covered the nuts on the inside of the cooler with moldable epoxy to keep it water tight.  When I'm on the water the cooler holds a couple of quarts of Gatorade, and makes for a great place to throw used plastics and tackle.    When I pack everything up, it becomes perfect storage for the the fish finder, mount, and cameras.

The cooler in back has a 3 rod holder attached and when I pack up, it holds my waders, wading shoes, and the tube foot pump.

The fishfinder mount I bought from Pete here on the forum.  I shortened both the power and transducer cables to make things cleaner, and it also holds my camera controller for 3 Sony Action Cams.

Next I hope to add a tray and associated goodies.   Let me know what you all think.

Best regards, Dan

Excellent set up Dan,

What is make or brand of the coolers? Are they hard sided or did you add a frame?

Is the cooler in back secured or just dropped in?

The brand of the coolers is Artic Zone, I got them at Walmart.   They are plastic inserts in a nylon insulated cover.  I put holes through them with a soldering iron tup and bolted the rod holders to them with stainless steel bolts, nuts, and neoprene washers to keep them watertight.  The machine screws I had were a bit too long so I plan on replacing them.

The cooler behind the seat is the perfect size and drops in snugly.  I didn't feel any need to secure it in place.

Love seeing mods.

Initially mounted rods on milk crate behind the seat. Moved to left side after one of my backcasts took out a rod tip behind me [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Good tip! Mostly I flip sidearm from the tube. I will have to see if hooking the other rods becomes an issue.

I am really liking the cooler/rod holder combo beside the boat. I am thinking of changing it up for the larger cooler and 3 rod holder and see how that works out.

So, when fishing Saturday I liked the cooler/rod holder that I mounted on the side so much that I decided to expand it.   Now I have put the bigger cooler on the side, and 3 rod holders.  I am thinking about adding a bubbler to it, so that I can use live shiners or anchovies when I fish in the bay.
I moved the smaller cooler behind the seat.

I also added a swivel to both camera mounts so I can easily adjust them and hopefully won't need the chest mount.  I found it annoying, especially when trying to land fish.   I also ordered a dive case for a third camera so that I can mount it under the tube and hopefully get some good underwater footage.  My camera controller will synchronize all 3 cameras record and stops.   I am looking forward to filming some fish porn.
