I thought I would share some of the mods I have done so far to my new tube. Because I live full time in an RV I need to pack everything as small as possible when I go mobile.
The small cooler is mounted to the driver's side of the tube with paracord and cam-lock clips. I attached two rod holders to the side of the cooler with nuts and bolts and I covered the nuts on the inside of the cooler with moldable epoxy to keep it water tight. When I'm on the water the cooler holds a couple of quarts of Gatorade, and makes for a great place to throw used plastics and tackle. When I pack everything up, it becomes perfect storage for the the fish finder, mount, and cameras.
The cooler in back has a 3 rod holder attached and when I pack up, it holds my waders, wading shoes, and the tube foot pump.
The fishfinder mount I bought from Pete here on the forum. I shortened both the power and transducer cables to make things cleaner, and it also holds my camera controller for 3 Sony Action Cams.
Next I hope to add a tray and associated goodies. Let me know what you all think.
Best regards, Dan
