Simple Question???

Where is your favorite place to float tube fish. For me it's Huntington Harbor. It's close to me and the fishing can be good when you hit it right. Easy launch spots and you can it does not matter on an in coming or out going tide you always can find a place to fish.

I am looking to compile a list of float tube-able waters for the forum. I hope to list all water in the U.S. and the World. List you waters, name and reason why it's your favorite. List a few if you like.

I am lazy so I mainly fish Dana Point Harbor. Its close and has easy access. Going to try some new places this year. Looking to float some lakes in the Eastern Sierra and catch some new species of fish from the float tube.

Thanks for sharing so I guess I am lazy as well LOL. THE Sierras should be nice good luck let us know how it goes.

I'm fine with driving since i'm in the SGV. My go to area is the CGS at newport even though i'm closer to puddingstone/santa fe dam. I actually prefer to fish the salt over the fresh.
One of these days, i'm going to make it to perris to try my hand at those panfish.

Salt:
1. Alamitos Bay
2. Huntington harbor
3. Newport harbor(gotta watch the “Karens”around the boats)
I want to try Dana and Mission Bay soon.
Fresh:
1. The Sierras. My favorite is lake George in Mammoth.
2. Castaic lagoon
3. Puddingstone.

CGS is a great spot.

My favorite place to float tube fish is with my fishing buddies!
