Hi all I thought I would share some photos of my electronics setup on my new tube.  I spent a lot of time getting it right but now everything works quite well.

The fish finder battery and transducer mount is from Fishfindermounts.com.  The fish finder is a Garmin Striker 4.  I cut and resoldered all the cables to a shorter length and covered them with cable wrap.  On the mount plate that came with the tube I mounted both front and rear facing Sony action cameras.   Both cameras have separate power supplies so they can run all day without having to remove and replace batteries.

There is a small screen/controller velcroed to the seat side of the fish finder battery box.  I can see a view from each camera, and with the push of a button I can stop and start both cameras simultaneously. I can also switch between still images and video mode with the controller.

It was a lot of work getting it right but I am very happy with how it turned out.  Please let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas!

That’s a sweet setup. Love the fish finder . I have the same one and it works great. Still learning some of the features. I’m sure it is more capable than I’m allowing it to be.

Yeah Max, I really use it most for depth, bottom contour and water temp., so I know exactly what you mean. One of these days I am going to have to dig into it some more and figure it out a bit better!
