Might be very new but I just found this and was very impressed. I will share a video later for now check it out. It's a cap for the end of your rod that pops off and floats to the surface with 60 feet of cord from float to rod section.
Just a cool useful idea.

Nothing worse 😖 than seeing your rod sink-down slowly out of sight to the bottom!
