It’s O-fish-al!

I’ll be floating the streams around SW Michigan. Just in time for spring steelhead.

The tube is a Watermaster knockoff by Dave Scadden.

I haven’t decided if I’ll use fins yet. I have plans to add an anchor and a diy rear frame to add rod holders for plugging and storage. I’ll also need a booster seat to straighten out my legs some. (I’m 6’4” and it’s not an asset in this case.)

Looking forward to getting my tube, my lines, and me wet in the next few days.

I felt like a kid on xmas morning when the big box arrived.

Cheap Berkeley rod holders can zip tie to outside of milk crate for behind the seat storage.  Can also use same holders and attach to D-rings and hang outside the boat.

The 8-9 foot inflatables get a little unwieldy storing, I just use a cart from harbor freight to roll around and for tackle storage.

Enjoy
