Got my float tube....

I got home early this week. Picked it up from my mailbox service. Had other important thing I had to address before playing. Like taxes.
Today is nasty outside. Had enough of this winter with driving. Just don't feel like it. Supposed to be 75 monday. Maybe take it out then?
Do have an issue with the flange for the fill valve on the seat deck. It leaks. I think I'll try to take it apart. Or at least run the air down all the way. Put included leak seal deep between the flange and vinyl. Then fill it. It's a very slow leak.

Is thst the basic seat? I wonder of you couldn't replace with a generic boat seat.

On my Creek Co, when the seat broke, that's what is did, and so also added a seat swivel.

Need to get it in the eater ASAP!

I usually check/tighten up my valves each season on all my tubes

Yes I checked tightness. One thing about this one valve. The whole thing will spin in place. The valve itself and the outside of it that holds the valve. None of my others will spin.

Deflate completely and see if you can grab bottom
Of the valve from underneath to hold in place while you tighten from above

It worked to tighten it. But it still leaks. I'm wondering if I should talk to Dave first. Maybe there is an O-ring seal that might not be there? Don't want to just muck it up. Pull it apart. Put leak sealer on. Put it back together. When it might just be an O-ring?

I'm still really liking this thing. It's sitting here. Didn't expect it to be gray. I like the gray. Don't think I'll ever use the motor/etc. frame for the back.

Just for info. Dave said that clear silicone is just fine for sealing up the valve's outer shell.

I'm itching to get this on the water.
Yesterday would have been ok. But absolutely had to get some wax on my car.
Today too windy, cold, and little snow.
Hopefully I'll find day before I go back to work. At least try it out.
