You guys are funny when those lil guys win me the tube i will be the ne laugh lol But the were small and it took a while to catch i worked hard for those lil guys

Tide was rising pretty fast to be in here...no room to cast...not even side arm skip...but there was feesh!

The fight in these feesh was awesome...I hope its a sign of the season to come. I had color on one of these guys (Ed your my witness) before he threw the Hammer Head at the surface....I finally got one on board for his photo op!

The location was awesome and the company was good as always (Ed and Eddie) the technique...not what most guys do but it paid off.

All I can say for fishing the LAB at this point in time is...

Yup, in fact sonarbp, and I fished that spot, it can produce a lot of fish. Gets kinda tight at a real high tide though..lol

I was there and I knew the tide was rising but I kept hitting my head...lol and thinking what the heck? Oh ya...duh....better get out before I have to spend the night in there...brrrrr...way to cold for that!!

Nice...sure glad you were able to get in that spot. It can be tight at times but it holds a nice variety of fish.

I tried to fish there I got hit but I had a hard time setting that hook with no room to really move around but it was interesting to see all the different fish in one lil area

Ed it is kinda tricky to hook them but once you learn the side swing hookset technique its alot easier getting them!

What I had to do was get bit, keep the rod loaded, paddle away from the structure and sweep stick it to 'em again to drive the hook in. Otherwise I was loosing the fish. Especially using the Hammer Heads...that hook makes a fairly large hole in the fish and therefore easier for them to shake it. Next time I will fish my smaller wire hook jigs and see if it helps.
