Sea doggs and tubes

im not sure if i post this in the right section but im new to tubing and was wondering how do you guys deal with the seals if they decide to get to close to you?

Pray they find something else to play with besids you.

I had some real close calls but they never hit me or anything else but It's definitely a freaky situation when they dive and you don't know where they are
at night is worse Just make sure you don't smell like Fish !!!

That's why you should always fish with the buddy system. You don't have to be the fastest guy on the water...just faster than him!

Luckily I haven't had to deal with that, yet. They have gotten close enough for me to chum my waders but that's about it.

Has anybody really had a Bad experience with them & what did you do

Oh yea, seals aren't a problem...it's Sea Lions! If you see a dog with one eye and a big hammer in the other, we've crossed paths before lol

I found out you dont even bother them and i stay away as far as i can but i did have a lil guy play peak a boo around my tube but after the 3rd head pop up i rise my pole as if i was going to strike and he took off that saying that will work but i know those guys with the gaff probably fell safe than the guys with out one and i dont think my motor is that fast if you got a angery seal or sea lion in on a mission

haha that video is hilarious those kids got 0wned by a pup. Too funny normally sea lions aren't that bold, but a little thump on the back of the head is all it takes. The problem is kids like that who don't do anything actually teach and encourage pups that kayaks are like dinner bells all they have to do is be aggressive and they get a free meal! If it where me I would have jumped in and made the pup do tricks before I gave it a fish.
