Afternoon everyone

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum and new to tubing. How new? I finally picked up a tube at a local garage sale(always wanted to try it, but didn't want to commit to a new one at first) and so far have floated in my pool. My waders just arrived today, and I am in no way rigged like any of you, but am going to try to hit a couple of small local lakes and get my feet wet so to speak. I look forward to picking up a lot of tips on here and hopefully moving on to a new tube in the future as I get acclimated to it.

Welcome Wes79v glad you found and happy you made it over to the float tube sport. There are a lot of great guys here that will share all they can with you. Were are you located at there is a gathering happening next month in Lake Perris great way to meet people and learn a few new tip.

Thanks everyone. I'm in Bakersfield, so Perris is about 3 1/2 hours, maybe 4. Fished a club tourny there many years ago and hit some good fish on spider jigs, if that help anyone. Lokking forward to getting on some real water in the next week or so. Maybe Lake Success, or Castaic. Also looking forward to learning from all the gurus on here.
