2nd Annual FTFF Christmas Toy Drive

Here we go boys, last year we tried a Toy Drive and for being a small forum there were some big hearts. I was very proud to be part of this and decided that this would be an annual event. So here is goes round 2. This year we will have some raffle prizes to give out and we will be holding to events fishing events to collect the gifts. We will also be donating to to different organizations one is like last year the Spark of Love, and the other will be a Orange County LA County Food Bank. As for the Spark of Love I am looking to maybe have a few members head down to Angel Stadium to drop off the gifts. The food Bank is not an issue as we are there every week to help feed the needy.
Here is the idea the first Gathering will be Newport Harbor on the 1st of December (6 am to noon) those that would like to fish can bring a gift and be entered into that morning's raffle. Next gathering will be lake Perris December 8th and the same will apply as for the raffle gathering time. For each gift donated to the cause you will receive a raffle ticket for the final raffle which will be held December 22nd. This will be done online for all to view. The Grade Prize will be a custom built rod donated to the forum by our very own wiseguy ( ).

You do not need to fish a gathering to be in on the final drawing if you would like to send some gifts that would be great just PM me. But to be involved in the gathering morning raffle drawing you will need to be there. Donations so far are by:

I also wanted to post a flyer that members could print of to take to there work or local tackle shop if they were ok posting it for us. For now I cannot figure out how to post a PDF in the thread but I will keep working on it. As for now if you really would like to do this PM me your e-mail and I will shot you the PDF.

OK here is an update, I got the Rusty Lures Donation a few days ago. So I have all but the rod (not worried about that I will meet with wiseguy in time to get it). I have started to put together the raffle prizes for both days, there will be 3 for each day and they will be well worth you time so good luck.

Things are coming together very nice and I hope to have some very nice prize packs for you guys. So anyone else want to sign up and remember you do not need to show up to donate, just contact me I have already got a cast donation that I went and spent to day on some hotwheels and nice little doll No not for me for the kids

A good point was raised, so not that I think anyone here would do this but I think it make sense. The toy must at least be a $5 gift or high to count, I will add this to the flyer as soon as I can just so we don't get people showing up with $.99 cent store toys to get in on the raffle. Again I am not thinking this would happen but I think it is a good idea to just put it out there.

Ok just finished setting up the raffle prizes like I stated 3 prizes per gathering. Here are some pictures each bag is worth at a minimum $40. Take a good luck because there will be wrapped so you cannot see and each winner will choose with out seeing what they are getting.
