Hey Folks, Happy New year !! I'm new here and have already learned a lot of stuff just browsing around. I've decided to throw my hat in the float tube ring as access to my local ponds is getting worse and worse with DEM cut backs and such. I ordered me a ODC-420 and am getting excited for Spring already. One question i have is, is there a ' Make sure you do this, and make sure you don't do that' thread or discussion going on ?? I guess i'm asking for some basic beginer do's and dont's as far as safety and such. Thanks a bunch, this is a great little place. I can't wait to be bobbin around my local spots !

Jim

Welcome to the FTFF, glad you found us. I am sure there is a Do's and Don'ts somewhere on this site I will look. I thnk one of the first things you need to think of is your launch spot is it an easy in and out. Second make sure you have a PFD with you gives you feeling of safety to start out with. Lastly bring a camera so we can all see your maiden Voyage Thumbs Up

Just keep checking back there will be a lot of post to come I am sure and I will look for the thread you are asking about. Happy New Year.
