i have a tall 8 yr old boy who is a good swimmer and is comfortable in and around the water

just wanting to know if there are any tubes safe for him to start off with

we will always stay shallow and only go out when the lake is flat calm so if we have a leak or something we can get back on shore fairly easy

what is everyone using to start the kids off with ??

thanks

U-Shaped open front easy in and out. I know a lot of guys keep there kids tied to them when out just for that added safety. Good luck and be safe, you are raising the next generation of tubers there bro. teach them well.

Yes u shape or pontoon type
No round tubes it is very dangerous
Also if they do flip out of a u shape tube they can get back in easier I have been there and done that so just be safe and take it slow and the rest will follow .fun fun fun and great rememories to have
