I just purchased one of these new Rod Racks
59.00 Extremely Light. I hope to try it out this weekend
The owners of the company seems really helpful. Super nice guy. He will custom make the arrangement for you
For the guys who don't want to build their own. This is a Great Option. And it is Lighter than PVC or ABS
I paid for it Monday and they had it to my door wed.

When i get mine mounted i will post a pic

They are really Simple Very Light and Not in the way.
They have so many Options also
it really is almost not worth making your own for the price.
they are so much smaller and compact and so adjustable
