so what do guys think

My wife's was saying last night what about a family gathering.  We could once it warms up head out to a location to have a pot luck and bbq.  We could show are family what it is we do and who we hang with.  This could be a good thing or a bad thing

that's a great idea. Just ran it by my wife. She said that wouldn't be such a bad idea. Maybe a lake in the warmer months. Sounds like a great time.  

Sweet bro warmer months would be better andvwe could plan it better with time

Not for me! Fishing is my time. I don't like to worry about weather or not someone else is enjoying themselves. Besides my wife hates fishing and the outdoors

I am totally good for this gathering. However we are just now entering the Holiday and Winter months. I'm not sure when you can plan for a gathering like this. I think when we are a couple of weeks from Summer and Summer Vacation for the kids is a good time? Right now to me it's more like a Fall/Winter Trout Camp-Out at a local stocker lake? It would be more of a campfire, camp, trout fishing, marshmallow, fellowship with thick blankies gathering? I'm game either way Jeff.

I like the idea but ya we are looking for a summertime fellowship gathering. I know I jumped the gun on this but just wondering what everyone thinks of this idea. To cold to camp out right now
