That looked like a great trip - everyone caught something. It's good that Jess Ranch didn't enforce their chest waders rule, or that tube deflation could have been disasterous. Does anyone know if they normally enforce the chest waders rule, especially in the summer heat?

I'd really like to join you guys next time you go.

We had quite a bit of algae to deal with .

I am under the impression that the warmer the water the more algae there will be.

If so, earlier in the month might work better.

They were tough on the rules but not so tough that they cannot bend. Just call them up to see what they say, but I agree it is hot out there.

I was thinking of this the other day, I think it is a great idea guys who else is up for this. If we get enough interest (which I am sure wont be hard) I will call Jess Ranch and set a date.

You can count me in unless the date falls on a wedding or quinceanera.

Sweet guys that is 5 already, I assume this will be help in June maybe late May. It will be hot but the Bass should be ready to go, by then. We can do Jess Ranch like last time, which I am cool with no problems there. It was $40 each and we had the lake to ourselves, all though it was a very small lake.
My question is would there be anywhere else we could do this at I heard Vail Lake might be a possibility in Temecula. Just wondering me personally I don't mind going back to Jess Ranch.

Big Jeff im way down for Vail Lake ive heard some stories and monster bass coming out of that lake....im down for Vail....down to take anyone else from OC that wants to cruize so we can make this happen........

I will call today to see what the cost is and is it even possible.

Does it have to be at private lake?

May I suggest Castaic Lagoon? It's a decent size but not too big if you guys don't mind going to a public lake.

Vail lake is a private resort, members only and they don't allow day passes

We will see they are asking me to send them an e-mail explaining what we are asking to do, fingers crossed we will see what they say.

Interesting, keeping an eye on this.

Cool maybe I can bum a ride with you ok this is still a long way off, I don't know if this will work, but I think it is worth the work.

I.m confused.........I looked into Vail Lake private. Jeff, did you happen to find out if they will allow us to tube being non-members?

Ya I am still waiting to hear from Vail Lake they sounded like it was possible, but have not heard anything since. I will give it another week or 2 and then make other plans. I would not mind going back to Jess Ranch Lakes but I know some people were not to excited about this place, so what are some other possibilities guys.
