If you're going up this weekend you might want to postpone. .......Very high winds, talked to a fishermen at Owens River. Left June Loop, wind was 40 to 60 mph. I went up to Sabrina and Intake 2. Ridiculous. But I scored two bows from the Owens. Post pic's later

Did you fish the tailwaters of PVR or the part of the Lower Owens east of town? Me too anxious for pics.

Friends are up in Mammoth now.  Did pretty good before the high winds shut the party down. They heard that the winds flipped a few trailers over at Crowley Lake Fish Camp.  Temps dropping tonight with 40% possibility of snow - supposed to be in the 20's tonight. Was told lots of earthquakes in Mammoth yesterday and today.  Someone lost a car to the dirt road on the way to Crowley because of liquifaction.  Bummer.

On top of that, friends were supposed to camp overnight at Kirman but last week someone's dog got bit; had to carry it down back to the truck and rush to the vet.  Think the dog is ok, haven't heard any bad about it. Anyway think that put the kybosh on the overnighter.

Hope Mother Nature gets her panties on straight by the second week of Oct.  If not, where else would you rather be than on the water when an earthquake hits?  Depending on the location of it, I'm gonna ride that mini tsunami to Green Banks or Leighton Springs!  cheers
