These are lakes that trucks cannot get to. It is the Rocky Mountains. Uinta's has hundreds of lakes and is forest. Same with Boulder. I am betting there is a lot of winter kill as well on the shallower lakes. Impressive I think.

Imagine your tubing one of these lakes and you get pummeled by trout from a plane. HAHA a story for sure

I got to see this happen in person this year! Extremely lucky, as they alternate lakes and areas every other year.

I suppose not all survive depending on the year's weather, and I am sure the stocking depends on the weather as well (late cold and they'll delay probably).
