Just popped my tube

Was preping my tube to go fishing and my the seams just started poping on the nylon cover and ripped it to S**t the bladder is still good. I know I over inflated it a little hahaha! I was pissed when it happened and I should have known better damn it. Still upset. Sorry formy ranting just can't believe it. This ever happen to anyone or am I the only dummy? Hahaha!. Now I gotta see if Cumberland sells the nylon covers(shell). Damn damn damn.

No, I dont think I have ever heard of this happening to anyone, what a bummer. There is a canvas and awning company on main street chula vista around 3rd street that might be able to sew it up for you. The owner is real nice and helps people all the time with odd things. If you get if fixed today, I will be out fishing at Tideland Park. Best of luck to you and sorry it happen.

Sorry to hear that Sdbaybassn. I did that to the 20 year old tube in my  Avatar. Once the sun came up and started warming things the tube just came unraveled.

That sucks bro I have had that happen to me years ago while on the water it scared the crap out of me. I do believe that Classic Accessories does sell the shell, contact them if there is any trouble let me know and I will see if I can help. @rusty hook who is the canvas company you are talking about I think they would be a great resource for us, could you send me there contact info.

Creek company has some different sizes of replacement covers one was about 120.00 almost a new Tube price, but havent found one specifically for for Cumberland, hope they sell ya one

Wow, that really stinks. I bet sewing it up might work, maybe even have the other side reinforced as well so it doesn't happen again.

Sent it happen first hand it was crazy the guy who was teaching me how to inflate my tube ,popped his right in front of me I was like dammm but I had 2 new tubes that day so we all got to fish but your not the only one . cover banaza sell the sheels as well

I don't use a pump on mine, I just use my lungs. I store it about 2/3 s full so it holds it shape. If I launch when it's cool in the AM and am expecting it to warm up I leave the tube feeling a little under inflated. I never inflate it so that it feels to tight to squish a little with my grip.

Man that sucks. BUT I have a Cumberland that is out of warranty and both blatters have leaks. So if you would like to trade some fishing gear for it I'm game.
