Wader repair, PATCH/AQUA Seal

Hello All,

So i got a hole in my waders last week and was unable to fish on saturday , finally hit the store and got some Gear AID patches that would work on nylon, i put that on the inside of the wader and soaked it for an hour or so and CHAMP but still wanted to seal it on the outside of the wader so bought the aqua seal, I applied a good amount then reapplied again before i went to bed last night, woke up and checked them out, they were dry and it looks like it has done the job, now its time to soak them in the bay on Wednesday , here are some pics.....

for sure but the real test will be tonight when i hit the bay

So got out yesterday to Newport Beach, water wasnt ideal to fish it was way to windy and choppy launched at 530 and were back in at 7....picked up 2, bass and a short halibut....

but the real reason for this reply was cuz my WADERS did champion, the patch and aqua seal worked awesome, looks like it sealed, conditions for them to take a beating were good, cuz it was so choppy and water kept hitting us pretty good... wooohooo just saved myself a hundy!!

i recommend it to everyone!!!!!

Nice! Beat the skunk and saved the waders. Some days are just plain good.
