Spending a few days in the lake district next week, it's an absolutely stunning place, a real haven for tourists and walkers but obviously it's called the lakes and that means there's fish. I've fished Windermere once before from my mates 14' seahog however this time I will be on my tube, at 14miles long and upto 1 mile wide it will be no meant feat but I'm hopeful of a pike even if it's just a small one

I'll get some good photos hopefully and report back upon my return home

It's England's biggest lake, cut by glaciers back in the ice age and has depths over 100', I'll be sticking to a small bay and fishing more sensible depths.

It's not the biggest lake in the UK though loch awe in Scotland is the longest at 25miles long but even that doesn't have the largest surface area or volume
