LAB sewage spill

Hi guys.  Just wanted to pass this along.  I heard a couple days ago that there was a sewage spill that contaminated the LAB.  After getting home and looking up the story I see that there indeed was a closure but it was almost two weeks ago.  Can't find any more information on the web if the water has tested clean yet.  Hopefully it is as it is such a great place.  Anyone with more current info please post up.

They have had spills before i hope it is ok.

I just called the hotline (562-570-4199) and the message recorded 02/08 says it's all closed. If the water was clear they would have put up a new message. It's before office hours on Friday as I write this, so maybe today's testing will change things.I will check the hotline again this afternoon.

LAB still appears to be closed as of this morning.
Darn .... I almost went there Sunday morn .... I'm sure glade that I went to LAH instead.

Damn. It's been closed for a while and I don't have a good feeling about when it will reopen with the rain coming again this weekend

They updated the recording yesterday and it's still closed, and with more rain predicted for Friday, it's not looking good...

On the other hand, maybe the lack of fishing pressure will set us up for some great fishing once the closure is lifted.

Looks like more trouble for the water treatment guys... looking bad for LAB.

They updated the recording and it's really hard for me to understand, but I think they said to avoid the water for 72 hrs after a rain storm, which I think means LAB should be open now.
