New Red Buoy line at Huntington Harbor

Drove home from work today - saw a long string of large red buoys sort of strung across what would be the flats (no fishing / no paddling) area of Huntington Harbor.

I haven't been in the office since Thursday... it was a surprise to see them.

How long have those been there? Can't be more than a few days.

I think that's just what it is, my friend.

Got some shots today from the Simple Green parking lot.... Sorry for the cartoon colors - needed to bump the settings up so you can see everything from so far away.

Makes me sad. Lots o' feesh just a few feet behind there.

Oh well.... Time to adapt, overcome and slay the other feesh in this huge place.

The area beyond that buoy line has always been closed. The buoy line was removed and was waiting for replacement. Beyond that area is a wild life reserve. If you were able to fish beyond that area and was not asked to leave or receive a citation, you were lucky. Very Happy
